Made with love in Northwest Arkansas.
hello, mom friend!
I'm Holly, mom to four children ages 12-23 (with one in college and two with type 1 diabetes). I’ve been both a stay-at-home mom and a classroom teacher. They are both rewarding . . and challenging!
I know that rocking both your career and your family (at the same time!) can be tough. I had trouble finding balance. I longed for help. When I was home with my littles, I wanted a sitter for my colicky babies so I could shower or nap. I wanted a date night so I could dress up and go out! And as a working mom, I needed help with meals, cleaning, errands, parties, and gifts. I just wanted a nap myself when I got home! . . and there wasn't much extra time after laundry and dinner.
I have kids spanning huge gaps. I know it's a big elephant . . When my daughter was diagnosed with type one diabetes, we considered it our third child. I was an extra pancreas to my tiny little girl, and it took years to master those specialized skills. We waited a long time to have a real third child. After that sweet baby, I lost five little ones. I struggled with those, then dealt with infertility. After deciding our family was complete . . I had just one more little boy. (and then diabetes rocked our world again when it hit our oldest son!) I'm thankful for each child, and happy to see so many sides of parenthood at the same time.
I’d love to come alongside you to make your life a little easier. I’d love to be for you what I needed myself. Sometimes in life we reach a spot where we (kinda) have this mom thing figured out . . and we long to help others find that place. I might be there!
I don’t think life actually gets easier; we just figure out what is most important. You are meant to spend time with the family you’ve created. It brings me joy to help you show love to those sweet people or to free up your time so you can show them yourself. And if I’m busy and booked . . please understand I’m loving my family too. Hugs, friend!
